Topshop has branded their personal stylist service ‘Style Advisor’ and it is available to book on their website. You simply need to choose which store you would like your appointment and a Style Advisor will email or phone you to confirm your booking.

I had my session at Brent Cross shopping centre in London as it’s easy for me to get to, but if you are looking for the ultimate shopping session then you can’t go past Oxford Street in London as it is the biggest store in the UK, if not the world. The store features 3 levels of pure consumer heaven with accessories on the top floor, clothing and lingerie on the second floor and concession retailers and shoes on the ground floor.

The benefit of this session is that you get to go to a private styling suite which is away from the ordinary fitting rooms and the style advisor will offer you either a water or champagne and some sweets to eat throughout your session. You can choose for you session to be conducted by any of the following ways:

1. You can stay in the private dressing room and read magazines while the style advisor hunts down clothing and accessories that she thinks meets you requirements
2. You can stay with the style advisor and talk to her about what you do and don’t like as you go around the shop floor together
3. You can separate from the style advisor and both choose things that you think may work, then come back together at the dressing room to try on the clothes

You will then spend the next 2 hours trying on a huge amount of clothing and accessories while not having to lift a finger. The style advisor will leave you in the styling suite while she gets you different sizes/styles etc.

At the end of the session, you can choose to have your purchases gift wrapped which adds a nice touch.

I would definitely recommend this service as it is the same as a normal trip to the store but without any of the stress and queues in the fitting rooms. You will have someone on hand to get you anything you may need and you won’t need to go in and out of the fitting room.
